American Ballet Theatre This site
is very informative, and allows you to learn and read about Ballet with
the American Ballet Theatre. One of my favourite features is the dance
terminology and the online dance technique videos. The videos of Ballet
technique are done in great detail and are easy to view. A very useful
Ballet Dictionary is also included online. ABT has an excellent dance site!
DanceArt.com I really love
this dance site! It has many useful message boards where you can ask and
learn about many aspects of dance. The Shoutout chat is very easy to use
and fun and safe. You can talk to dancers about Jazz, Tap, Ballet, and
any other form of dance.This is the best chat I have ever seen! The site
offers many pictures and clipart that are colorful and dance related!
Tap Dance Homepage This is a very
well designed Tap dance web site. It allows you to learn about the history
of tap, tap sounds, tap in video, tap in film, and more. It's all about
Tap! My favourite feature is the Tap sounds, where you can hear various
tap combinations, which includes a tutorial on the Tap moves in the routine.
Dance Magazine This site is complete
with dance photos, dance stories, and other information. It briefly tells
you what each issue of the dance magazine was about, in case you happened
to miss a monthly issue.
Flexibilty and Stretching Site
I really like this site because it helps you learn more about dance stretching
and muscles. I know many dancers have some problem with flexability and
proper stretching, and this site will help those people. I really liked
how easy the site is to use. It is very informative and gives you all the
important information about proper stretching technique.
Sansha U.S.A. I really like this
dance site because it allows you to view the various dance shoes available
at Sansha. It also allows you to order online if you prefer. This website
is designed very creatively and looks very appealing. It gives you some
information on how Sansha was started, as well as various dance links and
other information.
Capezio.com This is a very detailed
dance site. It has a dance chat, messages, and details about Capezio shoes,
pointe shoes, and dancewear. There is also information about dance competitions
and events. This is a very informative site with lots of extras.
